THROUGH GIA’S EYES FOUNDATION would like to provide access to a report detailing the Sight Savers America event that took place in February. At the event 8 children referred to the I Can See Now program were hosted for a 1-day clinic at the Allied World Assurance Company offices in Buckhead.
1 child received a comprehensive low vision evaluation, 7 Electronic-viewing-monitors (EVMs), and 6 monocular telescopes were distributed. Your generous donations, in part, helped provide 2 of those EVMs. Please click on the image to the right to access the full report; which includes a brief bio of each child as well as a 2 week follow-up report on the progress they have made since the clinic.

THROUGH GIA’S EYES FOUNDATION would like to thank you for your generous donation. In part, your donation has allowed TGEF to sponsor two children with Sightsavers who will be given Electronic Video Magnifiers that dramatically magnifies objects up to 131 times. This life changing technology allow these children to read, write, do their homework, groom themselves, see details they have never seen before. This enables them to gain independence and self- confidence. Our goal is to ultimately continue to raise funds who medically need, but can’t afford this equipment.
